Is your restaurant halal?
Yes, our food is halal. Our main meat supplier, Sila AG, provides us with a halal attestation.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve traditional Iranian food: grilled kebabs, saffron rice, slow-cooked stews and Persian starters.
Is your food homemade?
Yes, our dishes are homemade with fresh ingredients, following traditional Iranian recipes.
What do you recommend for a first taste of Iranian food?
For a first visit, we recommend Kebab KOOBIDEH, grilled minced-lamb skewers, DJOUDJEH Kebab, a skewer of marinated chicken breast, or Zereshkpolo MORGH, chicken served with barberry rice. Our team will be happy to guide you according to your taste.
Do you have vegetarian and vegan dishes?
Yes, our menu includes vegetarian dishes. We also offer vegan options among our starters. Feel free to ask our team for advice according to your dietary preferences.
Are your dishes spicy?
No, none of our dishes are spicy. Our food is flavoured with saffron, herbs and mild spices, which bring aroma without heat.
Do you have gluten-free dishes?
Yes, several dishes on our menu are gluten-free. Please tell our team about any allergy or intolerance before ordering, so we can tell you about the ingredients and how the dishes are prepared.
Where is your restaurant in Geneva?
Tehran Lake is at Rue des Pâquis 18, 1201 Geneva, in the Pâquis district, a short walk from Lake Geneva. The restaurant has no private car park, but parking spaces are usually available in the surrounding streets, depending on the day and time.
You can also visit our two other restaurants in Geneva: Tehran Center, Rue de Monthoux 56, 1201 Geneva, and Tehran Jonction, Boulevard Carl-Vogt 16, 1205 Geneva.
What are your opening hours?
We are open every day, Monday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 22:00, without a break.
Do I need to book, and how?
We recommend booking before you come to be sure of a table. You can book online with the TheFork button on our website, or by phone or WhatsApp.
Can I order takeaway?
Yes, our dishes are also available to take away. Call us to place your order and collect it at the restaurant.
Do you deliver?
Yes, you can enjoy our Iranian food at home. To order a delivery, call us directly or find our restaurant on Uber Eats and Just Eat.
Do you have a lunch menu, and at what price?
Yes, we offer a lunch menu at CHF 20, Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 14:00. It includes three starters served with warm bread and a main course that is different each day. See the lunch menus on our Lunch menu page.
Do you welcome groups and private events?
Yes, we welcome groups of up to 60 people for a birthday, a family meal, a company meal or any other occasion. Depending on your request and budget, we offer different set menus from CHF 45 to 110 per person. Contact us for a proposal tailored to your event.
Do you offer catering?
Yes, we offer catering for private and business events. Contact us with the date, the number of guests and your wishes, and we will suggest a formula that suits your needs.
Is your restaurant suitable for families with children?
Yes, families are welcome! We have high chairs. We do not have a specific children’s menu, but our team will help you choose from the menu.
Is your restaurant accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, our restaurant is accessible for wheelchair users.
Do you have a terrace?
Yes, we have a small 8-seat terrace, open all year round, so you can enjoy your meal outdoors.
Which payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by bank card, in cash or with TWINT.
Do you serve alcoholic drinks?
Yes, we also serve alcoholic drinks for guests who would like one with their meal.
Is your team Iranian and experienced?
Yes, our team is Iranian and has at least 15 years of experience in Iranian restaurants. This knowledge of our cuisine lets us advise you and share Iran’s culinary traditions with you.
Is your dining room air-conditioned?
Yes, our dining room is air-conditioned for your comfort in summer and on hot days. It is also heated in winter, so you are comfortable all year round.
