Tehran Lake: a story of Iranian flavours and hospitality
Opened in July 2025 near Lake Geneva, Tehran Lake was born from a wish to share generous Iranian cooking in a warm setting. The second of the Tehran restaurants in Geneva, after Tehran Center and before Tehran Jonction, it carries on an adventure led by an experienced Iranian team with a passion for hospitality.
For us, the pleasure of welcoming guests starts on the plate. We cook homemade Iranian food with fresh ingredients, recipes full of flavour and homemade desserts that invite you to linger at the table. All our meat is halal, a commitment at the heart of our cooking. Our menu also offers vegetarian and vegan dishes, so everyone finds something they love.
We welcome you every day, 7 days a week, in a dining room that is air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter, with free Wi-Fi. Our terrace has eight seats for a meal outdoors. For family meals, get-togethers with friends or business events, we host groups of up to 60 people.

An Iranian team
Our team is 100% Iranian, and every member has at least 15 years of experience in Iranian restaurants. It takes care over every dish: the marinade of the Djoudjeh chicken, the cooking of stews such as Ghormeh Sabzi, the balance of spices, the saffron rice. And the welcome matters as much as the plate.
Homemade, with fresh ingredients
All our dishes are made in our kitchen with fresh ingredients, from Koobideh skewers to Kashko Bademdjan and Shirazi salad.
The hall and the terrace
The dining room seats about 60, in a warm, family atmosphere with soft music in the background. Brick walls, Persian-arched alcoves with pictures and colourful mosaic lamps; long rows of white-clothed tables, small table lamps and cream chairs. Green plants and large windows at the back of the room.
The terrace seats 8. It is open all year round.
For lunch, a family dinner or a meal with friends.
Our halal commitment
All our dishes are halal. Our supplier, Sila AG, provides us with a halal attestation.
Three addresses in Geneva
Tehran CENTER, opened in 2009, is our first restaurant in Geneva. Tehran LAKE and Tehran JONCTION followed, with the same menu.
